We all love discounts, yes we do:) so why your customers would not love it:)? and that is not a secret that giving discounts on website usually attracts more potential buyers than without discounts.

But what happens if we discounted some of our products using special prices and emailed few coupon codes earlier to someone, or gave some coupon codes for customers for some reason?

Here what may happens, you have set a special price for some of your products that already is at minimum profit for you, and when you expect the items to be sold at that discounted price .... your customer comes and use an extra coupon code for your website (maybe you gave him the coupon for something in return, or maybe you giving away coupons for registering at your website, or newsletter subscription, etc..) no matter what may be the reason the client got the coupon.

The main problem is that he can use the coupon on already discounted items (and this is not good for you as a website owner) as you starting to sell your item into loss.

But not anymore with this extension you can enable/disable the radio button to allow the coupon to be used on items having special prices (special offers) or no, so with this extension you will not have to worry anymore that you will sell your products with a loss.

The coupons will apply just to items in the cart the ones do not have a special price set. so now you can run multiple marketing / advertising companies without overlapping and putting yourself as a business man in a situation where instead of growing your profit you will start loosing it.
