In opencart we have a few ways to make a discounted products, that is using special price feature, and coupons. But in order to use a coupon you as administrator need to send a newsletter with a coupon code to a client, or give it personally for your customers.

But what about new users? You can't give a discount coupon or free shipping for all your visitors to be used. So here comes the new module.

"Public Coupon Widgets" this module adds NEW functionality to the Opencart coupons. From now on you can show coupon widgets on your product pages to promote X coupons and deals on your Opencart site and generate more revenue.

How this module works? You create a coupon and set it to be used as a widget, you create a coupon teaser text (using variables if needed) then you can select special products it can be used.

Once selected on what product it can be applied these coupon widgets will be shown on that product page as a teaser to buy this specific product with coupon code already presented on the product page. (With no extra effort) The module will make his work itself:)

You can use coupon variables to make the usage of a module even easier:

%code% - will be replaced with coupon code.
%discount% - will be replaced with discount assigned to coupon.
%total_amount% - will be replaced with total ammount.
%date_start% - will be replaced with date start.
%date_end% - will be replaced with date end.
