AS web shop owners we try to sell as many products as possible and try to add more and more to our store to get more sales. But no matter when you add the product, is it TODAY, YESTERDAY or a YEAR ago.

The products in categories by default are sorted by NAME, that isif you added product from A letter long long time ago it will be always at the top of the list.

That is always DEFAULT sorting by are by name. So imagine if you have added new HOT product to X category and the name starts from Z letter. That means browsing that X category our latest product shows at the very bottom of the list.

And lets face it the new arrivals should come first:)

So this extension will change that, it will change the default sort order from name to sort by date. So from now on your customers the ones browsing your web store categories always see new arrivals first at the top of the list.

PS: search results also sorts products by latest added.
