By default in opencart once user clicks on a category he gets redirected to a category page and browses further  the products he selected (by category).

Also there is a module of categories under opencart which one allows you to place the categories in any design layout , and that is nice feature, but it makes it TEXT based and only as is, that is. it will show only main categories links in these blocks. what limits you as admin to create dynamic categories lists, not to mention that it is ONLY TEXT based links which ones is hard to navigate from phone:)

This module allows you to create dynamic links to any categories  no mater what level deep, no matter from what branch they are and show them as a clickable links with (images selected by you to represent the category). you can create different category sets without limits. You can mix different categories from different branches to show together. Once you create the category set you want, simply assign it to the position in the layout settings where you want it to appear.  and you will get new block with your selected categories in the position you selected.

This module is a must to have for those owners who do care about user friendly browsing and using website, with this module you can quickly link users to the categories you want them to visit. It can increase your sales if you advertise a potential categories on front page  where you have special sales.. etc...  the usage is limitless. You can add/remove categories anytime, change the category images, set width and height of the category image to match your design and layout.

Module is fully multilingual, you can add different category images per language, you can even set different categories per languages, with different images.
